DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained five members of a gang in Dhaka, on charge of collecting money through fraudulence. 

RAB Legal & Media Wing Senior Assistant Director ASP Mizanur Rahman Khan confirmed the matter Sunday (May 26).

The detainees include ringleader of the gang Barek.

They were nabbed from various parts of the city Saturday (May 25) night.

Details will be informed at a press briefing at RAB Media Center in Karwan Bazar, said the RAB official.

Earlier, on March 2, RAB detained 22 members of the same gang.
