DHAKA: Ticket buyers complained rail service apps ‘Amader Rail’ is not working as they were anxious to buy advance train tickets for upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
Railway authority is set to sell 27,700 tickets each day of which 13, 350 tickets are available online.
Nujhat Islam, a passenger, told Banglanews: “I tried to buy a ticket using rail service apps at night, but I could not log in the apps with mobile number after frequent attempts. Later, I came directly to Kamlapur to buy the ticket around 1 am.”
Another ticket buyer Aminus Islam blamed railway technology for not being able to buy the ticket online.
A company namely CNS made the rail service apps. It was formally inaugurated in April.
