CHATTOGRAM: A 70-year-old man was killed as a bus hit him near Almas Cinema Hall under Kotwali police station in the port city Monday (Mar 18). 

The accident occurred around 10am.

The deceased was a resident of Banshkhali and an employee at Asia Tours & Travels Ltd.

He was rescued with critical injuries from the spot and taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where the on-duty physician pronounced him dead.

CMCH Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Alauddin Talukder confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
