DHAKA: An inter-ministerial meeting will be held soon to remove chemical godowns from the Old Dhaka, said Director General (DG) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Benazir Ahmed.
Benazir Ahmed said, “I learnt that this issue will soon be resolved through the inter-ministerial meeting. In the meeting, activities will be determined how legal and illegal people can be relocated in the shortest possible time.”
The RAB DG spoke to reporters after visiting Chawkbazar fire incident victims at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Thursday (February 21).
Many organizations are involved in this project. Therefore, it needs collected efforts, Benazir Ahmed also said.
