DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an accused of the case filed over Gulshan Holey Artisan Bakery attack from Gazipur.

The arrestee is identified as Md Mamunur Rashid alias Ripon alias Rezaul Karim alias Reza, a surah member of banned militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). 

Mamunur Rashid was also supplier of money and arms to the café attackers, ASP Mizanur Rahman, assistant director (media and legal wing) of the RAB told Banglanews.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted the drive in Boardbazar area of Gazipur and arrested the JMB leader along with Tk 1.5 lakh, he added.
