DHAKA:  Members of  Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed in Dhaka as well as other parts of the country ahead of the 11th national election slated for December 30.

1,016 platoons BGB have been deployed at specific areas countrywide from Tuesday morning (December 18).

“BGB personnel are being sent to their assigned stations to assist in maintaining law and order situations. Deployment will be finished today,” Mohammad Mohsin Reza, BGB Public Relations Officer (PRO), told Banglanews:

A total of 141 platoons of BGB will be deployed in Dhaka Metropolitan and Dhaka Division.
