MYMENSINGH:  A woman gave birth to four babies at one time at Community-based Medical College Hospital Bangladesh (CBMCHB) in sadar upazila of the district on Sunday (November 18).

Four babies were boys.

Four babies were born via C-section. One of the babies is having difficulty in breathing, but the rest and the mother are fine, according to doctors of the hospital.

Mother of the quadruplets is Lipi Akther while father is Sirajul Islam who is a day laborer in Ishwarganj upazila.

Both of the parents were seen very happy.

“The health conditions of quadruplets will be determined after 48-72 hours. Babies could be announced risk free after 72 hours,” Dr M Karim, director of the hospital, told Banglanews.
