DHAKA: Ruling Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina welcomed the decision of all political parties including the BNP to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

“The election will be held in a democratic environment,” she added.  

The premier made the remarks at party’s parliamentary board meeting held in its political office in city’s Bagabandhu Avenue on Sunday afternoon (Nov 11).

Sheikh Hasina also said that competent candidates of AL will be nominated for 300 seats.
