NARSINGDI: Law enforcers cordoned-off two houses in Madhabdi and sadar upazilas of Narsingdi, on suspicion that militants might be hiding there.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP, Shibpur Circle) Thunder Khairul Hasan confirmed the matter.

As many as 150 members of police and Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit jointly raided a seven-storey building in Gangpar area of Madhabdi municipality.

Besides, CTTC members cordoned-off another house on Dighirpar Chairman Bari Road in Shekherchar area under sadar upazila.  

Nasrsingdi Superintendent of Police (SP) Saifullah Al Mamun visited the spots around 1:30am.
