DHAKA: The recommendation to scrap quota system in first and second grade government jobs will be placed in the upcoming cabinet meeting.

Public Administration Ministry disclosed the move Wednesday (Sept 26). 

The report made by a quota analysis committee has been sent to the cabinet section after reviewed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Public Administration Ministry.

The much-awaited quota reformation issue may be placed at the cabinet meeting on Oct 1, said sources from the ministry.
