JAMALPUR: A student of North South University (NSU) was killed after a truck rammed a motorcycle in front of Sheikh Hasina Medical College in Jamalpur town Friday (Sept 22) night.

The deceased was identified as Faisal Mahmud Supta, 19, a fifth-semester engineering student at NSU.  

Another one, named Sejan, sustained injuries and was taken to Jamalpur General Hospital.

Witnesses said Supta died on the spot as a truck rammed the motorcycle around 9:30pm. 

Police recovered the body and sent to the morgue, said Jamalpur sadar police station officer-in-charge (OC) Nasimul Islam.
