PATHARGHATA (BARGUNA): Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a suspected robber, in a drive carried out in Baleshwar River of the Sundarbans in Barguna.

The detainee was member of a robber gang named Sottar Bahini.

Several firearms, bullets and locally made sharp weapons were seized from his possession.

RAB-8 disclosed the matter to media Thursday (August 20).

Identity of the detainee is still awaited.
