DHAKA: The existing online newsportals will have to submit the application to the Press Information Department for government registration by June 30. 

The Ministry of Information on Monday (May 27) has issued a government letter regarding the matter.  

The application should be made in the form given by the Press Information Department at its website http://www.pressinform.gov.bd.

The application will also be accepted by post in accordance with all the required documents as per mentioned in the form. The portals, whose applications have been received properly, do not need to reapply.
