DHAKA: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 13-member squad for upcoming Test series against West Indies. 

Regular Test captain Shakib Al Hasan will return to the squad after recovery from his finger injury while opening batsman Soumya Sarkar is also back in white jersey after a year over. 

The first Test against the West Indies will be held at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on November 22.

Shakib played Test match during his West Indies visit in last July and forced out of Zimbabwe series after sustaining injuries in his previously injured finger. 

Though Shakib made it back in the squad, Tamim Iqbal still could not due to injury. The left-handed batsman played Test match against South Africa in October 2017. 

Moreover, young spinner Nayeem Hasan will also join the squad while Liton Das, Nazmul Islam Apu and Nazmul Hossain Shanto were excluded from the squad.

Shakib Al Hasan (Capt), Soumya Sarkar, Imrul Kayes, Mohammad Mithun, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Ariful Haque, Mahmudullah, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mustafizur Rahman, Taijul Islam, Syed Khaled Ahmed, Nayeem Hasan.
