AL MP Ismat Ara Sadek passes away

DHAKA: Former State Minister for Public Administration Ismat Ara Sadek, also a lawmaker from Jessore-6 constituency, has passed away. 

She was 78.

Ismat Ara breathed her last around 11:30 am at a private hospital in the capital while undergoing treatment.

She was elected as a lawmaker from Jashore-6 constituency from the Awami League.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed her shock at the death of MP Ismat Ara Sadek.
