DHAKA: Police arrested BNP Vice-chairman Maj (retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed from high court area of the capital on Thursday (November 28).
SM Shamim, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Ramna Zone) said arrest was made at around 1:45 pm.
He also said Hafiz Uddin was shown arrested in a case filed over charges of vandalism and assault on police while demanding release of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Tuesday (November 26).
