NTV Program head Mostofa Kamal dies from Covid-19

DHAKA: Private television channel NTV’s Head of Programs Mostofa Kamal Sayed has died from coronavirus (COVID-19) infection at a hospital in Dhaka.

He was 78.

Mostofa Kamal Sayed, who tested positive with coronavirus, breathed his last at Square Hospital around 1:30pm on Sunday, NTV's Assistant General Manager (Program) Alfred Khokon said.

The 78-year-old was admitted to Square Hospital with Covid-19 infection on May 11, he said.

Mostofa Kamal started his TV career in Bangladesh Television in 1967 as a Program Producer.
