Rohingya ‘robber’ shot dead in Teknaf

COX’S BAZAR: A suspected Rohingya robber was shot to death by unidentified miscreants in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar district.

The identity of the deceased could not be confirmed immediately.

Two others were injured in the incident occurred in Nayapara camp of the upazila on Saturday night, Banglanews correspondent reports.

Two other Rohingyas, Shamsul Amin, 32, and Rashid, 13 were injured in the incident.

Teknaf Model police station Officer-in-Charge Md Rakibul Hasan said they recovered the body and sent it to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

The OC said the deceased might be a robber.
