SAVAR (DHAKA):  Three persons were killed and at least three others injured after road accidents took place in Aminbazar, Genda and Boliarpur areas on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Savar.

The identity of the casualties was not known, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Savar Model Police Station AFM Sayed told Banglanews on Friday (September 27)

Two trucks had a face-to-face collision at Aminbazar area on Thursday night (September 19). As a result, two persons got injured. Later, they were taken to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital, but doctors declared one of them dead, OC said.

Meanwhile, three people, including two passengers, were injured after an auto rickshaw collided with a rickshaw at Genda area. Locals took them to Enam Medical College and Hospital, however, doctors declared one of them dead.

At dawn, a transport worker was crushed under an unidentified vehicle while crossing the road in Baliarpur Bandhan CNG pump area on the highway.
