Momen seeks China’s cooperation to resolve Rohingya crisis Foreign Affairs Minister AK Abdul Momen at a meeting with Zhang Zuo

DHAKA:  Foreign Affairs Minister AK Abdul Momen sought cooperation from China in order to persuade Myanmar to resolve Rohingya crisis.

The minister urged for speedy repatriation of Myanmar citizens from Bangladesh when he held a meeting with Chinese ambassador Zhang Zuo at the foreign ministry on Tuesday (June 25).

Zhang Zuo, at the meeting, shared his experience of recent visit to Rohingya camps.  Zhang Zuo stressed the importance of communication between Myanmar and Bangladesh to resolve Rohingya crisis.

Momen requested Chinese ambassador to realize contract and decision between the countries quickly. Chinese ambassador assured Momen of realization of all projects.
