CHATTOGRAM: Counter Terrorism Unit of Police secured court permission to interrogate police member Siddiqur Rahman for two days in custody as he was arrested for possessing yaba pills.
Chattogram Metropolitan Magistrate Mehnaz Rahman gave permission on Monday (June 17).
CTU asked for 5 days of remand, but the court granted only for 2 days, assistant commissioner of police Shahabuddin Ahmed told Bnaglanews.
Rapid Action Battalion and CTU arrested Siddiqur Rahman in a joint drive conducted at CGS colony area under Double Mooring police station on Friday (June 14) in possession with 10,000 yaba pills and Taka 80,000.
