DHAKA: Police recovered the body of a young man from Hatirjheel Lake in Dhaka Friday (April 19) morning.

The deceased, aged around 38, couldn’t be identified immediately.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), for an autopsy.

He might have died after drowning, said Hatirjheel Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdur Rashid.

Reasons behind the death will be confirmed once the autopsy is done, he added.
