DINAJPUR: Three persons including a child were killed when a bus hit an auto-rickshaw in Sadar upazilla of the district on Thursday morning.

The deceased were identified as Ashraful Alam, 32, son of Afsar Ali, of Jamalpur village in Bagatipara upazila, his daughter Ivy, 10 and Sajder Khalifa, 48, Banglanews district correspondent reports.

The bus hit the battery-run auto-rickshaw at Chiniapara intersection around 10am, leaving the three passengers of auto-rickshaw dead on the spot.

Dinajpur Kotwali thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Redoanur Rahim confirmed the matter of Banglanews.
