FROM Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC): Eminent writer of Bangla language, physicist and educationist Dr Muhammed Zafar Iqbal once again imparted his magic through talking to children.

He said, “We want to use technology at the same time we must be aware about technology’s using of us”.

Zafar Iqbal made the observations while addressing a special seminar titled ‘Children’s Digital World’ on the final day of Digital World 2014 on Saturday.

He read out three short stories to the children in his speech.

Professor Zafar Iqbal said, “A person’s idea is more important than technology”.

Citing the example of making drone, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, he also said only idea made it possible and people came to know quickly because of Facebook.

He also asked students to learn programing language.

Earlier, Nisat Tasnim shared her experience of conquering the Himalayas.

State minister for science and information and communication technology ministry Yeafes Osman, state minister for information and communication technology ministry Zunaid Ahmed Palak and theatre personality Mamunur Rashid, among others, were present in the program.
