In the month of December 2021 (glorious liberation war ) Bangladesh succumbing to a humiliating and comprehensive white wash by Pakistan shocked the freedom loving Bangladeshis.Suffering  0-3 loss in T20 series and 0-2 loss in the test series defeated , demoralized and dispirited Bangladesh today would travel to New Zealand as lambs for the sacrifice. It was a sad commentary for Bangladesh cricket that in Dhaka test played only about two complete days powerful Pakistan smashed such a huge defeat. Pakistan scored 300/4 declared. Bangladesh could not even survive a day and quarter of a day scoring 87 and 208 . It is on home soil and in the sanctuary of Bangladesh cricket . It was on a wicket where vaunted Bangladesh spin attack could not challenge Pakistan batting but a rookie Pakistan spinner Sajid Khan devastated, tormented and teased Bangladesh. 
If not cyclone Zawad tried its best to rescue toothless tigers the match could be over much earlier. Pakistani pacers were not allowed to bowl in the fading lights of day four. Bangladesh lost 7 wickets to spinner. In the dismal first innings Shakib (33) and Shanto (30) scored 63 of the 87 runs. Forced to follow on Bangladesh got bundled out for 208 . Again Shakib (63), Mushfique (48 ) and Liton (45) contributed 156 runs . Rest of the batting appeared non existent. With Shakib opting out from New Zealand tour for family reasons Bangladesh may suffer more humilities in very difficult tour down under. 
Some people would still try defending the awful performance of Bangladesh as “ Win and Loss are part of the game”.  But Bangladesh can now only win test against weak Zimbabwe at home and abroad . Staying at the bottom of ICC test Championship table Bangladesh has no room left to sink further.
The team appears top less as top four comes and goes having no technique, skills , temperament and commitment for playing either pace or spin. Mushfique , Shakib and to some extent Liton appeared the only 3 batsmen having international class and quality. Bangladesh bowling attack can not take 20 wickets even on own spin friendly wickets. Bangladesh now does not look to have the quality for playing test cricket.
We must praise Pakistan for teaching Bangladesh playing cricket . We were shocked and dismayed that Bangladesh did not even show the will and appetite for the fight. The performance yet again finger pointed to the dismal state of domestic cricket and failures of BCB in planning and implementing improvement of overall infrastructure. Domestic cricket is not at all of quality preparing cricketers for the hard grind of international cricket. BCB must own the failures .Mastermind of BCB must account for the humiliation of Bangladesh on the month of victory .
