DHAKA: US swimmer Michael Phelps has won a gold medal in the men’s 4x100 meter freestyle relay to take his gold medal tally to 19, the most by any Olympian.

The 19th gold medal made the aggregate to 23 for Phelps.

Meanwhile, France claimed the silver and Australia took the bronze in the event.
