India set 269-run target for Ireland

DHAKA: India Under-19 team scored 268-run losing nine wickets from their 50-over quota in the Group D match against Ireland in the ICC Under 19 World Cup at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur of Dhaka on Thursday (January 28).

 Ireland Under-19s won the toss and elected to field first in the match.

 Irish bowlers rip through the India top order as four batsmen returned to pavilion on 55-run in 16.5-over.

 Later, Sarfaraz Khan and Washington Sundar reconstructed the innings. Sarfaraz was the top scorer with 74-run while Washington hit 62-run.

 J Little and R Anders picked up three wickets each for Ireland.
