India, BAN 3rd ODI abandoned

DHAKA: The third and final One Day International (ODI) match between visiting India and host Bangladesh at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur of the city on Thursday has been abandoned due to incessant raining.

Before the rain started, India scored 119-run for nine wickets after over-34.2.

Shakib took three wickets while Taskin and Al Amin Hossain bagged two wickets each and Mashrafee and Sohag Gazi took one wicket each.

The match was curtailed to 40 overs a side due to rain. 

Earlier, India captain Suresh Raina decided to bat first after winning the toss for the first time in the series. 

The match began at 1:00pm.

The series had already been decided after India's stunning 47-run win in the second game.
