South Africa beat England by 3-run

DHAKA: South Africa has defeated England by three runs in the 26th match of T-20 world cup at Chittagong Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Saturday night.

Chasing South Africa set 197-run target, English batsmen managed to score 193 runs losing seven wickets in the stipulated overs.

Earlier, South Africa scored 196 for five wickets following blistering knocks from Hashim Amla and AB de Villiers.

HM Amla scored 56 runs from 37 balls and AB de Villiers scored 69 runs from 28 balls and remained unbeaten.

On the other hand, TT Bresnan, CJ Jordan, JC Tredwll and SCJ Broad got one wicket each.

Earlier, England won the toss and elected to field first. The match kicked-off at 7:30pm local time.
