Comilla Victorians said on Monday that their pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman is stable now and out of danger.

Mustafizur got an injury on the head while going back to his run-up during a net session at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Sunday morning.

“Mustafizur Rahman is stable now and out of danger. There were 5 stretches on his wound and from today wound dressing started. Hopefully tomorrow he will be released from the hospital,” Comilla physio Zahidul Islam said in a statement on Monday.

Mustafizur can claim himself as lucky considering after CT scan it was revealed that he had only external injury and there was no intracranial bleeding.
