Noakhali’s Basurhat municipality mayor Quader Mirza has announced his resignation from the post of Companiganj Upazila AL.
He made the disclosure in a Facebook live around 11:45am on Wednesday.
Quader Mirza, also younger brother of the ruling Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader, said he would cooperate the upazila AL committee from behind.
