Five more leaders of Swecchasebok Dal and Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal have been expelled for their involvement in the attack on the residence of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. 

Office secretaries of Swecchasebok Dal and Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal made the disclosure joitly at a press release on Monday night. 

Earlier in yesterday, twelve BNP leaders (thana level) of Dhaka north have been expelled over the attack incident.

The party leaders were suspended from all their posts, including primary membership, due to breach of party discipline following the Article 5 (GA) of the party constitution. 

This decision will be effective immediately, according to party sources.
