BNP to mull tougher movement on Oct 25

DHAKA: Opposition BNP along with 18-party alliance will start movement from October 25 to press home their demand of reinstating caretaker government.

Party sources said they party would take position in the capital by calling a grand rally here.

The party insider said, besides, BNP-led 18-party alliance BNP would form a political platform with other small parties.

To meet the demand, BNP will gather around 20 lakh people in the capital from across the country.

The party will distribute leaflets, do mass publicity and press conference in various places to strength the movement, said the party sources.

When contacted, BNP standing committee member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said, “We are even in movement programme. We will announce tougher movement programme on October 25.”
