Three associate bodies of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) — Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal, and Swechchhasebak Dal — are set to hold a large-scale rally today (May 28) titled “Establishing the Political Rights of the Youth” in front of the party’s central office in Naya Paltan.
Organisers anticipate a turnout of up to 15 lakh participants from Dhaka, Sylhet, Faridpur, and Mymensingh. The announcement was made during a press conference at the BNP headquarters on Saturday.
The rally marks the culmination of a month-long nationwide campaign conducted by the three wings to engage the youth and raise awareness of political inclusion.
BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will join virtually as the chief guest, where he is expected to present the party’s future vision, including reforms to the state structure, political priorities, and youth-centered policies.
