AL to hold peace rally tomorrow 

Dhaka North Awami League will hold a peace and development rally following 18 conditions given by Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Saturday.

The rally will be held in the capital’s Mohammadpur area at 2:30pm as DMP has given permission.

Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League representative confirmed the matter on Friday (May 10).

DMP Deputy Police Commissioner (Operations) Abu Yusuf sent a permission letter attaching 18 directives regarding holding rally to Abdul Awal Sheikh, Assistant Secretary of Dhaka North Awami League.

The letter said, in view of the application made on Wednesday (May 8), the rally is allowed subject to proper observance of certain conditions.
