The High Court (HC) on Monday (January 22) granted bail to BNP standing committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy in six separate cases filed with the capital’s Paltan and Ramna police stations till March 26. 

Besides, BNP executive committee member and Dhaka district BNP general secretary Nipun Roy Chowdhury has also been granted anticipatory bail till March 25 in a case filed in South Keraniganj.

The court also asked Gayeshwar and Nipin to surrender before the session’s court before expiry of their bail.

HC bench of Justice Md. Habibul Gani and Justice Ahmed Sohel passed the order in a separate bail application.
