DHAKA: Ruling Awami League advisory council member Suranjit Sen Gupta claimed that HM Ershad was in the election and he would participate in election in future.

Suranjit came up with the observation while talking to journalists after a discussion at Jatiya Press Club on Friday the noon.  

Suranjit said, “Ershad was in polls, he still is and in future he will keep in touch in elections and will help in power handover through election.”  

About resignation of Jatiya Party’s minister, he said, “To get something, you have to go to right place otherwise you will find nothing.”

The senior leader of the party also said politics now under election commission. Commission will hold polls as per the schedule and political parties should follow it.
