JHENAIDAH: Mohespur Upazila Awami League called dawn-to-dusk hartal for Monday as immediate past lawmaker Shafiqul Azam Khan Chanchal did not get party nomination.
Supporters of Shafiqul also blasted cocktails at Awami League leader Principal Nabi Newaz’s house as he got AL ticket for the upcoming general election.
Police Super Altaf Hossain confirmed the attack incident.
