Mahmudur Rahman Manna, president of Nagarik Oikya, met BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Monday (May 8) night.
He entered Khaleda Zia's residence in Gulshan around 8:15pm on Monday and left around 9:30pm.
During his visit, Manna inquired about Khaleda Zia's physical condition. There was also talk about the final anti-government movement.
Besides, Khaleda Zia indicated that BNP will not go to the elections under the current Awami League government, said Manna.
Ganatantra Mancha has been involved in a simultaneous anti-government movement with BNP since its inception.
Earlier, senior leaders of the BNP met party Chairperson at her Gulshan home and exchanged Eid greetings on April 22 this year.
BNP chairperson has been suffering from various health complications including arthritis, diabetes, dental and eye problems for many years.
She was freed from jail on March 25, 2020 after the government suspended her jail sentence for six months. She has been staying at her Gulshan residence since her release.
BNP chief also received treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital.
