DHAKA: Opposition BNP led 18-party alliance will stage a protest rally at Suhrawardy Udyan as part of their countrywide programme on Friday.

Top leaders of 18-party alliance will be present at the rally.

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is expected to address the protest rally as chief guest.

Dhaka City BNP member secretary Abdus Salam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The opposition alliance has already sought permission from Dhaka Metropolitan Police for the rally, he added.
