Communications on Sajek-Khagrachhari road restored after more than six hours of suspension on Wednesday afternoon due to landslides.

The road was cleared with the help of Bangladesh Army and local administration.

Rumana Akter, Baghaichhari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), said local administration with the help of the army removed the debris of earth from the road on the way to Rangamati around 2:30 pm.

According to the UNO, large chunks of earth were removed by 20 army personnel along with the locals. Now, there is no problem. Vehicles started plying while tourists also started moving," she added.
