Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind for different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am today (Sept 24).
According to the Met office bulletin, light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Sylhet, Mymensingh and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at isolated places over Rangpur, Sylhet, Mymensingh and Chattogram divisions.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded 35.2 degrees Celsius in Tarash, while today's minimum temperature was 21.0 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded 57mm in Feni.
