Police on Thursday (August 11) arrested four persons with 24 stolen mobile phones and Tk 2.32 lakh in Joypurhat.

According to the information, owner of ‘Labib Telecom Centre’ on August 10 opened his shop around 9:30 am and saw 84 smart mobile phones worth Tk 15.66 lakh and Tk 2.32 lakh missing.

Later, he registered a case with Joypurhat Sadar Police Station in this connection.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Joypurhat Sadar Police Station Alamgir Jahan confirmed the information this afternoon.

Alamgir Jahan said that the arrestees are residents of different Upazilas of Chittagong and Comilla.
