The government has increased the price of urea fertiliser by Tk 6 per kilogram adjusting to the international market.
However, the government still would have to provide Tk 59 as subsidy for per kg urea fertilizer.
The price of urea fertiliser at the farmer level has been fixed at Tk 22 from Tk 16 while Tk 20 from Tk 14 at the dealer level, which was come into effect today, said a press release.
