Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over the country, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin on Sunday (July 31).
 
According to its bulletin, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, at a few places over Chattogram division and at one or two places over Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at some places over northern part of the country.

The day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added. Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 36.2 degrees Celsius at Mongla and minimum temperature today was 24.4 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat.
 
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 90 mm in Rajarhat. The sun sets at 6.43 pm today and rises at 5.28 am tomorrow in the capital.
