Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday (July 29) predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions.
 
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said a Met Office press release today.  

Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded by 35.3 degree Celsius at Faridpur and minimum temperature today was recorded by 24.5 degree Celsius at Nikli and Tetulia.

The sun sets at 6.43 pm today and rises at 5.26 am tomorrow in the capital.
