Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over the country, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin on Wednesday (July 27).

According to the bulletin, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at isolated places over the country.

The day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, it added.
 
Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 34.1 degrees Celsius at Chuadanga and minimum temperature today was 24.1 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
 
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 47 mm in Sylhet.

The sun sets at 6.46 pm today and rises at 5.26 am tomorrow in the capital.
