Bangladesh to observe Eid-ul-Azha on July 10

Eid-ul-Azha will fall on July 10 in Bangladesh as the moon for the month of Zil Hajj on the Islamic calendar has been sighted this evening (June 30).

The announcement was made at a meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee at the meeting hall of the Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram around 7.30 pm.

On Wednesday, Saudi Arabia's Supreme Court announced that Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on 9 July.
