Global Covid death toll tops 4.17m, caseload over 194.96m

The overall global Covid-19 caseload has topped 194.96 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 4.17 million, according to data from the worldometer.

In its latest update on Monday (July 26, 5:30pm Local Time), the data revealed that the current global caseload and death toll stood at 194,967,707 and 4,178,305 respectively.

Besides, a total of 176,888,707 people recovered worldwide from the disease, according to data from the worldometer.

A total of 220 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.

In USA, 35,199,465 people have tested positive for the virus. Of them, 626,762 people have died and 29,511,909 people have recovered.

In Brazil, 19,688,663 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 549,999 have died and 18,349,436 recovered.

In India, 31,411,262 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 420,996 people have died and 30,579,106 people have recovered.

In Mexico, 2,748,518 have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 238,424 died and 2,148,642 recovered from the disease.

In Peru, 2,104,394 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 195,696 have died.

In Russia, 6,149,780 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 195,890 have died.

In UK, 5,697,9912 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 129,158 patients have died and 4,450,204 people have recovered.

In Italy, 4,317,415 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 127,949 people have died and 4,123,209 people have recovered. 

In Colombia, 4,727,846 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 118,868 people have died and 4,487,973 people have recovered.

In France, 5,993,937 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 111,622 patients have died and 5,675,377 patients have recovered.

In Argentina, 4,846,615 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 103,721 patients have died and 4,493,984 people have recovered.

In Germany, 3,763,002 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 92,037 patients have died and 3,646,100 have recovered.

In Iran, 3,723,246 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 89,122 patients have died and 3,274,346 patients have recovered. 

In Spain, 4,280,429 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 81,221 have died and 3,683,457 patients have recovered. 

In Poland, 2,882,220 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 75,242 patients have died and 2,653,353 people have recovered.

In Indonesia, 3,194,733 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 84,766 patients have died and 2,549,692 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 1,179,827 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 19,521 people died and 10,09,975 patients have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11 last year.
