Global Covid death toll tops 4.09m, caseload over 190m

The overall global Covid-19 caseload has topped 190.34 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 4.09 million, according to data from the worldometer.

In its latest update on Saturday (July 17, 2:00pm Local Time), the data revealed that the current global caseload and death toll stood at 190,347,496 and 4,093,029 respectively.

Besides, a total of 173,542,752 people recovered worldwide from the disease, according to data from the worldometer.

A total of 220 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.

In USA, 34,929,856 people have tested positive for the virus. Of them, 624,606 people have died and 29,358,531 people have recovered.

In Brazil, 19,308,109 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 540,500 have died and 17,951,699 recovered.

In India, 31,064,908 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 413,123 people have died and 30,227,792 people have recovered.

In Mexico, 2,642,068 have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 236,015 died and 2,074,145 recovered from the disease.

In Peru, 2,090,175 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 194,935 have died.

In Russia, 5,933,115 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 147,655 have died and 5,322,345 have recovered.

In UK, 5,332,371 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 128,642 patients have died and 4,385,308 people have recovered.

In Italy, 4,281,214 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 127,851 people have died and 4,110,649 people have recovered. 

In Colombia, 4,601,335 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 115,333 people have died and 4,353,4957 people have recovered.

In France, 5,844,249 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 111,451 patients have died and 5,656,992 patients have recovered.

In Argentina, 4,737,213 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 101,158 patients have died and 4,363,105 people have recovered.

In Germany, 3,749,922 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 91,878 patients have died and 3,638,800 have recovered.

In Iran, 3,485,940 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 86,791 patients have died and 3,101,618 patients have recovered. 

In Spain, 4,100,222 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 81,096 have died and 3,660,683 patients have recovered. 

In Poland, 2,881,241 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 75,205 patients have died and 2,652,743 people have recovered.

In Indonesia, 2,780,803 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 71,397 patients have died and 2,204,491 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 1,083,922 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 17,465 people died and 914,343 patients have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11 last year.
